On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to welcome you to our Third Australia and New Zealand Home Therapies Workshop in Brisbane, Queensland in February 2010.

The first Australasian Home Haemodialysis Workshop was held in Christchurch in 2004 and this was followed by another in Geelong in 2007.

Previous workshops have been Home Haemodialysis based.  This workshop incorporates both Peritoneal Dialysis and Home Haemodialysis for the first time!

This has arisen by popular demand and recognises the inherent common issues faced with both home therapies. There will be concurrent sessions for both therapies as well as general topics that will be appropriate for both areas.

This Home Therapies Workshop should interest medical, nursing, technical and allied health care workers involved in caring for patient’s doing home based dialysis therapies. 

The meeting is being held at the Brisbane Convention Centre which is within easy reach of the Southbank parklands and other social and cultural activities.  There are multiple options for accommodation, social events and tourist type activities. 

We hope we will see you here enhancing your knowledge and skills through learning, listening and sharing ideas with other colleagues.
